This April marks a truly momentous occasion for us at Credenhill, now proudly trading as Daylong Direct. We are thrilled to be celebrating our 70th anniversary – seven decades dedicated to pioneering products, exceptional customer care, and making a real difference in people’s lives. From our humble beginnings in a small office on Percy Street in central London in 1955, we have grown under the leadership of Paul Grove and his family, becoming a trusted name in compression hosiery, NHS prescription services, hospital and pharmacy trade, and direct retail.
It’s also a special year for our Ilkeston roots, as we commemorate 40 years in the town. Our headquarters here has been central to our journey, allowing us to support NHS healthcare professionals and patients across the country. We are incredibly proud to have provided employment to many local people over these 40 years, with a dedicated team of 36 currently working with us from the surrounding Ilkeston area.
Throughout these seven decades of change, Daylong Direct has consistently evolved to meet the dynamic needs of the healthcare sector. Our commitment has always been to ensure patients receive the best possible support for conditions such as venous disorders, lymphoedema, leg ulcers, pregnancy-related swelling, and post-surgical recovery.
As we look back with pride on 70 years of care, community, and compression, we also look forward with excitement to many more years of serving our customers and supporting the healthcare community.
